Tel Aviv grabs the third place in news.co.mau's rank of eight cities that could give silicon valley a good fight. The first places are taken by Singapore and Sidney.

Second only to Silicon Valley, Silicon Wadi Hebrew for valley) has subsidiaries from every major tech company today, including Intel, Microsoft and Google. However, Tel Aviv’s current software scene is far from the suburban business parks that typified Israel’s earlier round of successes.
