IATI signs a memorandum of understanding With Chinese province ShandongNov. 26, 2015
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed last week between the Science & Technology Bureau of Chinese province Shandong Weifang Science & Technology Bureau and the Israeli Advanced Technology Industries (IATI). Shujian Wang, Vice Governor of Shandong province, announced the The "Shangdong-Israel technology industry match-make activity".
The agreement was signed by Hongyan Zhang, Vice director of Shandong Weifang Science & Technology Bureau, and Karin Mayer Rubinstein - CEO, Israel Advanced Technology Industries (IATI).
The agreement mentioned that both parties have had previous discussions and correspondence as to their future strategic cooperation, with regards to innovative technology and international business development, between Israel and the Shandong Province in the People's Republic of China.
The intention the newly announced co-operation is to create a competitive advantage for international business development in the Shandong Weifang region – which will allow it to gain access to Israeli R&D and new technologies. In this was the Province will more easily strengthen its local economy and building relations with Israel, through various projects and cooperation.
Also attended the Event: Ami Lustig, CEO of LR Group, and Jacob Mualem, CEO Kidum of Volcani Center.
The Province and IATI agreed to jointly identify potential projects and interesting opportunities relevant to both. Also, industry meetings and conference will be co-organized in both Israel and in China; and co-operation will be held in academic exchanges.
IATI is the largest umbrella organization representing the high tech and life science industries and acts as the voice of the high-tech, life science and all advanced technologies community in Israel.
