Following a Recent Court Decision, IATI Calls for a more Attractive MNC Tax PolicyMay. 3, 2018
Last week's High Court's decision about taxing the options of MNC Israeli workers could have a disastrous impact on global R&D centers' presence in Israel. The decision could significantly increase the amount of tax payed by MNCs. Following the verdict, IATI sent a letter to Minister of Finance Moshe Kahlon and Director of the Israel Taxes Authority Eran Yaacov, with a request for an urgent meeting. IATI CEO Karin Mayer Rubinstein wrote in the letter: "Seeing the great importance of MNCs' local activity, and the fact that economy is in constant global competition, we call for a more attractive MNC tax policy".
