Launched: 4th Cycle of IATI's mentoring program for Greek entrepreneursJul. 1, 2018
The 4th Cycle of IATI's Israeli mentoring program for Greek entrepreneurs, in cooperation with National Bank of Greece, was launched last week. A delegation of Israeli experienced mentors visited Athens to provide know-how and guidance to young Greek startup entrepreneurs in developing their businesses. The Israeli mentors we selected this year were Dr. Amir Guttman, Managing Partner and Founder at Aviv Venture Capital; Dr. Nadav Klein, Partner & CTO at VLX Ventures; and Libi Tishler, Deputy director of media and communication of Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality. The delegation was led by IATI's Committee Manager Roni Alfassi-Goldberger.
The mentorship is part of a series of initiatives aimed to promote Greek-Israeli cooperation in innovation and entrepreneurship in the framework of an MOU for cooperation in these fields which was signed by the Prime Ministers of Israel and Greece in 2016. We thank Israeli Ambassador to Greece Irit Ben-Abba for her ongoing support in promoting the relations between the two countries; Economic Coordinator at Embassy of Israel in Greece Nelly (Nadjary) Leon; and NBG top executives: GM Nelly Tzakou, Head of Business Banking Sector George Kametas, and Business Seeds Coordinator Dr. Spyros Arsenis. IATI keeps connecting global tech innovations to the local ecosystem, in order to open doors for Israeli tech companies to network and develop their business abroad,
