Dec. 17, 2017
The 3rd Cycle of IATI's Israeli mentoring program for Greek entrepreneurs, in cooperation with National Bank of Greece, was launched recently. A delegation of Israeli experienced mentors visited Athens to provide know-how and guidance to young Greek startup entrepreneurs in developing their businesses. The Israeli mentors we selected this year are Amir Guttman, Managing Partner and Founder at Aviv Venture Capital; and Nimrod Cohen, Managing Partner at TAU Ventures. IATI's representative in the delegate was Member Relations & Events Manager Inbar Yaacobi.
The mentorship is part of a series of initiatives aimed to promote Greek-Israeli cooperation in innovation and startup entrepreneurship in the framework of an MOU for cooperation in these fields which was signed by the Prime Ministers of Israel and Greece in January 2016. We thank Israeli Ambassador to Greece Irit Ben-Abba for her ongoing support in promoting the relations between the two countries; Economic Coordinator at Embassy of Israel in Greece Nelly (Nadjary) Leon; and NBG top executives: GM Nelly Tzakou, Head of Business Banking Sector George Kametas, and Business Seeds Coordinator Dr. Spyros Arsenis.
